Bahamas Business Trip Recap – Paint, Pirates & a Perfect Day!

I just got back from the Paint Party Business Live event in the Bahamas, hosted by the amazing Heidi Easley and her rockstar team*. What a whirlwind of inspiration, fun, and, of course, painting biz magic! I traveled with three of my paint party business besties, and we had the BEST time.

Day 1 – All Aboard & a Surprise in the Sky

We set sail from Cape Canaveral on the Utopia of the Seas, a ship so massive it can hold over 6,000 guests—seriously, it's like a floating city! Right away, we were blown away by the beauty, efficiency, and top-notch staff. We kicked things off by meeting other paint party owners, and hearing from Heidi, my business mentor of nearly five years.

The coolest part? Watching a SpaceX launch from our balcony! Seeing that rocket light up the sky was absolutely unforgettable. You can check out Day 1 (and a glimpse of the launch!) here!

Day 2 – Colorful Nassau & Creative Conversations

Our first stop: Nassau! We explored the vibrant streets, checked out the local shops, and soaked in the island vibes. Then it was back to business with breakout sessions featuring incredible leaders like Heidi and Tamara Bennett from Southern Adoornments.

 There’s something about being surrounded by like-minded creatives that just elevates your energy. New ideas started flowing, and I left that day feeling so inspired! Oh, and one of the best things? Day 3 – Learning, Laughing & Painted Prom

Sea Day = Business Deep Dive Day! I started the morning reflecting and praying about my word of the year—"Gratitude"—while sipping coffee on my balcony (total pinch-me moment!).

We spent the day learning about community-building, customer connections, and growing our businesses in meaningful ways. But don’t worry, it wasn’t all work—we made time for fun too! I may or may not have zoomed down a giant slide before lunch. 🤪

After more training in the afternoon, it was time for Painted Prom—and let me tell you, the Pirates & Mermaids theme did NOT disappoint! With over 250 paint party owners dressed up and ready to celebrate, it was an absolute blast. See for yourself in the  Day 3 Reel!

Day 4 – A Perfect Day at Coco Cay

For our final day, we hit Royal Caribbean’s private island, Coco Cay—and WOW, it truly was a Perfect Day. We found a quiet little slice of paradise, relaxed in lounge chairs, and even had some unexpected visitors…chickens and roosters! 🐓😂

As the sun set, we wrapped up the trip with the Last Splash Farewell Party, saying goodbye to new and old friends. My heart is so full after this trip—what an incredible way to reset, regroup, and reconnect. Catch the final day's highlights here!

Final Thoughts

This trip was everything I hoped for and more—inspiration, connection, fun, and a little bit of adventure. I left feeling recharged, full of fresh ideas, and so grateful for this creative community.
